Tsk Tsk… I picked up Sidin’s Blog while reading Chandoo’s Blog… It really was a total timepass… Almost reminded me of the books like.. Catcher in the Rye…As Sidin says.. he will publish all this…LOL!! I really hope he continues with his writing…. :) :)…

Yesterday was one of the real dampening days… We had a hour long meeting with my boss & his boss (Big Boss) …. B & BB are a pain the a**. Now, they have decided that they will overburden our team with more crap…I guess I shall be spending atleast 3 hrs on something that I spent about 1/2 hr.. Gosh.. wanna get outta here… but before that I wanna kill the BBBs…. :) :)…..

Was about 9:30 when I reached home…& I had stepped out at 8ish… Guess I can stop living in that apartment… I spend most of my waking hrs at office/ food court/ fresh room/ parking lot/ gym…….why do i need a house???!! :)

Hmmm I am done with my training and got a nice rebuke for not doing anything about my future b school. Initially, it was.. hey I have an admit… now i guess, I really need to look at how I shld get prepared for the B School.

Yes, I have got the admit et al. And I am working on the finance part of it. The Visa shouldnt be a problem once I manage the finance. Ok, as of now, I have another 4 months… lets say, I pack my bags on AUG 15th (Hmm.. I still get jeepers when I think of leaving India!!)… 3 1/2 months.. at this point, I have absouletely no idea as to what they expect out of me in the MBA program.

Should I start looking at the programme… start my pre-school studies.. get comfortable with loads & loads of terminologies… look at the options for electives.. see how I can work with the career managemet group… see the companies in UK… UK markets… etc etc… GOSH they all sound BIG!! But Simbaji.. guess u have to start off somewhere even if it means cutting down sleep… (thass ok.. guess i need to get used to that!!!)… Okai… So, will start off…. :) :) but BOY.. am I excited.. :) :)

But one thing is really really sure.. am done with this field… I would look into some challenging work as a MBA person. GOD… send me to MBS.. plssss!!!

Voluntary Services April 20, 2004

This really looks interesting. A lot of ppl on the forum seem to be interested in serving humanity. A thread was started on PG forum yesterday evening & it has already got a lot of replies.

But now the task remains as to where we start. Some ppl have really been giving a few good ideas… like…

1. Doing public plays on socially and nationally relevant topics
2. Set up kiosks at the college fests - encourage donations
3. Educate children in villages
4. Collect old clothes from households and distribute it to the people in slums etc etc
6. Teach other people .. adults or college kids
7. Association for India’s Development (AID) - start a ‘MBA community’ chapter of AID.
8. Organizing a charity lunch

I think we can start off somewhere, so that atleast we have something small going. But frankly I feel once the Tees are out, it will be better. Probably can manage a small drive in Vashi… all people in Vashi & around can pitch in…. Will work on this. Lets see whos interested!!!

Gosh.. this was one of the most hectic trips I have had. I had been running around for the Bank Work. Though most of the things were done by Mom & Dad.

I have spoken to the Bank Manager of SBI, Bangalore. He is willing to lend upto 85% of the total expenses. I am really hoping everything works out fine. Though I have a lot of waiting for me….
